How To Become Your Own Trainer

If you want to know more about how to train your horse then you have come to the right place.  I'm really happy to see there is a lot of information these days about ways you can learn to get along better with your horse — but they don't seem to answer the questions you have in real life.

Do you have a young horse or a problem horse? Learn training techniques with respect for the language that is natural to the development of a partnership — based on classical dressage exercises and behavioral conditioning and rewards.

You don't have to grow up with horses to be good with them — I only bought my own horse as an adult. I attended a lot of clinics, both with and without my horse, and I read a lot of books, watched videos, searched web pages, and asked my friends. You've probably done a lot of the same things.

I want to share with you some of the good techniques I discovered, as well as the ones I developed myself — with the help of a lot of horses I worked with. We are sure lucky that horses are so generous and forgiving while we learn with them.
